>Hey dude, it's possible for individuals to disagree with you and not be anyone's protege.

Proteges tend to adopt the mannerisms and idioms of their mentor. IAC, calling me a liar is rediculous, which both you and MIke have done. Expressing one's opinion about the future is not lying. It might be grounded on a bad premise, but nonetheless, it is not a lie. In this case, my opinion is not grounded on a bad premise or unreasonable grounds. Look at the objective facts both inside and outside the Fox world. Let the analysis be your guide and take you to the proper conclusion. I am comfortable with the conclusions I have made. If you are comfortable with yours, fine. Time will tell. I will hold on fast to the notion that significant investments in Fox are a waste of money. If one has a current product that needs to be shipped and updated, it may very well make sense to go with Fox. If the planning horizon is 12-24 months, it may be a different story. The analysis changes a bit for consultants who deliver custom apps. What about the in-house developers that will inherit those apps? What if they are ramping up on .NET now? Where does that leave the Fox developer? I contend that unless the Fox developer keeps pace, he will be left out in the cold.
With that said, I am anything but full of it...
