We have an app with about 30 reports/graphs, all in Crystal Reports 6.

We're looking to migrate to a .NET environment, using Crystal .NET.

My understanding is that the licensing requirements for CR.NET have changed, but I'm not sure of the details, other than I don't believe it's royalty free anymore.

We have potentially a couple hundred users. We may use WinForms, so the reports may be running on the client end.

In a nutshell, what are the licensing requirements for something like this? If it is more $$$, would it be cheaper to server the reports using CR.NET on a reports server? (a related question is which is the better technology solutions).
