Ok, Universal Thread listserv interface is going in production officially.

I finished the latest tests on validations today. As indicated in the help, there is a special section about listserv indicating that when the listserver find an undelivered email, it will drop the user from the list and create a notification you'll receive when entering the Universal Thread. So, if you have the impression you are not receiving your messages by email anymore, to a login in the Universal Thread to see if the listserv created a message for you.

There was an increase of messages this week partly related to those messages coming from the Universal Thread listserv testing team. But, even with those messages, the average would have increased a lot.

From now on, this average will increase more because many people join or will join the Universal Thread because we now offer a listserv interface. I expect the average to be from 95 to 135 in mid september making the Universal Thread on top spot for Visual FoxPro technical support. Congratulations to all of you.

Now, I need some volunteers to announce that in the foxpro-l, foxweb listservs, MS newsgroups and xbase.fox newsgroups. Do I have some? Don't forget to mention that this is a special listserv where the user has to create a Universal Thread account and configure to receive or stop receiving messages from Universal Thread in his personal information. We also require the user to have a Netscape 2.0 compliant browser to be able to surf the Universal Thread.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the listserv testing team.

I also took the decision to not avoid the display of the new messages for listserv members. That mean if you enter the Universal Thread, you will get the first 50 new messages mapped in the upper right panel but there is no need to read them because you got them from the listserv.

We are now running Version 1 of the Universal Thread listserv interface. If you find some bugs, send me a private email. Do not post any problem here.
