This is not my area, but let´s go. :)

I am taking my final college work, and it is to take an existing linux distibution, modify it to make it turn into a Real Time Embedded Linux, with no more thatn 50k of size to run on a NIOS embedded processor (executed on a FPGA board).

Can anybody help me? Any help is welcome, specialy about how to make modifications and cut stuff of from the existing linux distribution.
