Maybe, but if he is using SQL Server, there is no such thing as corrupted memo field, he is using an EXE so i am not sure if VFP is better at cleaning connections in EXE.
In a MTDLL on COM+ If you dont explicitly close ALL you connection handles, you will get C5.
>I found out that I received this error because of a bad memo field. Not every record had corrupted memo field pointers, so the error did not happen every time until I learned what the problem was. Once I removed the records having corrupted memo references, I do not have the C0000005 error.
