Well, at least now you know that it must be an option on the install list. I don't think you could remove the file system, even if you selected that option, but I wouldn't test it to find out. Also, you should consider hooking up a monitor to the linux rack mounted system. You could learn alot from A GUI desktop, and a GUI not only saves alot of time, its the easy way to do most things.
