Hi Vic,

> ... the problems of VFP into O200 and the popup problem...

I know about the Outlook security 'feature'. Someone likes to call it a problem but it's not, as it was explained to us by MS. :)

I went through the threads you've sent me - thanks. Mike S. mentioned there a possibility of building the COM Add-in for Outlook.

Is that how Word is sending mail through OutLook? Can something similar be done from VFP?

Also, Mike S. was going to write a whitepaper on the matter. Any pointers where that whitepaper is or has it been written at all?

>Well, I have just covered this entire issue the other day... lol.. so I understand... might I suggest you read thread 631337 - especically the later messages as they go into discussing the problems of VFP into O200 and the popup problem. Good one M$!!! Also, another thread is 65574... and there is an article somewhere on KB which I don't have reference to at the moment... HTH

>>Just today I tried to send a mail from MS Word (clicking on the toolbar button E-mail in Word) and it went out just fine. The message was properly stored in Outlook 2000 Send Items folder as it should.
>>
>>What I'm wondering is how come the pop-up from Outlook didn't pop up? You know what I mean - the one which pops up when the Outlook is automated from VFP: "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? (Allow access for 1 minute)"
>>
>>So my question is: How is Word sending e-mails so that they get stored in Outlook's Send Items folder and there is no security popup while it's doing that?
>>
>>(I'm using Outlook 2000 and Exchange as mail server. VFP7 goes without saying.)
