Stop avoiding the issue here. Steve Black suggests that developers wait until the dust settles before considering investing their resources in .NET. I happen to disagee. You happen to as well, although, quite a bit more emotionally I might add.

So, what is the disadvantage to waiting a year before looking at .NET, which is along the lines of what Steve is suggesting, and what you called deceptive? Is a year really that big of deal? My time flies, dunno about yours. But in either case, the .NET picture will be clearer by then. Do you disaggree?

And, specifically if you can, where are my advantages to waiting flawed?
