I normally write to UT to ask questions, but on this occasion I thought I could offer some information. I would for a company called helpIT systems who have produced an Active X control for phonetic matching of data. My involvement is using this component within our software solution matchIT, a VFP app, however it is available for other developers to plug into their systems and with recent communication it seems that this hasn't been widely publisised, but the demand is increasing rapidly.

If anybody is developing a system which they feel could benefit from this type of functionality, please just drop me a line, or even if you would like to chat about matching in general. Take a look at the website if you require any further information on the findITx component.
