>That toy language has been kicking VFP's tail for years now....

No doubt - no argument - however, you must consider "more popular" and "better" as the same thing. I'm not married to VFP - that's why I'm headed to .NET.

>>and while I know it's a new animal in .NET, it's hard for me to adjust my perception. Anyway - you know - the enenmy of my enemy is my friend! So C# - here I come ...
>>Now there is some technical reasoning. With intellectual fire power like that, you managed to become "director of development"... Amazing...

actually - i's a fairly thinly veiled joke - thought someone of your "intellect" would get that. I must be wrong. I have my position because of many years of experience and because I'm very, very good at what I do. Come by sometime if you need some help.

>Also - (not accusing you BTW) but it is beginning to become clear that there is some real pressure from the VFP team and their faithful to push VB as the .NET language of choice. I frankly question motives of Ken Levy et al at this point.

>Cool your jets and direct your attention my way. If it is about questioning motives, then you should then first defend the lame technical reasoning you put forth. Do yourself a favor, quit while you are several leagues behind...

Ah "weak minds = strong words" - already starting the inflammatory language eh? - you've got a good track record of it. FWIW - motives have nothing to do with reasoning - so you've spouted a non sequitur. But. motives. reasoning, and technical arguments aside - I've not the time or patience to deal with a child. I have to do that at home and your arguments and insults carry no more weight than my two year old's do. Reply if you like - but my dialog with you is over. I have work to do.
