ActiveX controls in VFP
Damned annoying isn't it? Well, the answer I have found is, put the CD in, let the installer update/do what it needs, and then it won't happen any more!

Whenever the form is told execute or even bring it up the the form designer. The stupid Office2K installer dialog pops up saying it needs data1.msi. Clicking cancel a few times will actually allow the form to run, with the progress bar on it, but this is an automated poller that runs this program every 15 minutes.
