I am hitting one problem when using visual foxpro 7 program on Windows
2000 server. Users are accessing the program from Window9x through 100Based LAN connection. From my observation, I notice I cannot have more than two
users doing transaction processing at the same time. One user is OK. For instance, if two users are using the Invoice screen which contains the 'begin transaction', 'end transaction' or 'rollback', I will get the 'index file and the dbf file not synchronised' error later on. Then I have to reindex the problematic table again. It seems like the new invoice
header record is NOT being appended to the dbf file, yet the cdx file is being updated with the new record entry. When I try to search for the newly appended invoice, I can not find it in the table.

Facts:
1) The same program is being used on NT4 service pack 2 without any problem
2) The server folder where program and database files lie are being shared
out by the 'Administrator' to 'Everyone' with 'Full Control' permission.

My suspicion is:
1) Maybe I have NOT applied the latest service patch for foxpro?
2) Maybe the Data Environment setting of the form: I am using the Default
Data Session instead of the Private Data Session?
3) Someone suggested to me about the caching option of the server folder
where the application and data lie are not being set correctly. But all
I can see are three options available:
1) Manual Caching for Documents
2) Automatic Caching for Documents
3) Automatic Caching for Programs
I have tried all three options yet the problem still persists.

Anyone out there who have experienced this before???
