Well the inventory section
I am a foxpro developer that kinda knows his stuff, and maximo for inventory (from what I have herd from other State agencies) is kind of a oxymoron
I need a system that can handle roll over pre numbered items i.e.
1998 in stock
pre-start = 1
pre-end - 999
letter series aaa
(issue 999 and)
999 in stock
pre-start = 1
pre-end - 999
letter series aab
and depleting stock locations
i.e. 999 in each location
first issue location comes out "70062"
second issue location comes out "70022"
and I also need historical data (average monthly usage) on the fly
and a back-order process
and turn around time i.e. ordered 01/01/2002 received 01/14/2002 = 13 days
and pictures (around 200 X 200 *.jpg)would be nice
yada yada
well I guess to put it the short way is I need a lot, I run a tight ship
thanks

>Maximo has been one of the more user-friendlier systems and has been very flexible. As with any CMMS/EAM system, there are many modules. Which areas would you like feedback on: Maintenance Work Orders/Planning/Scheduling, Materials/Inventory/Spares management, HR, Financials?
