i am trying to create dropdowns in VFP7 similar to those in other Windows program but i am failing. i want to be able for the user to either select from a list or enter a new value. so i am looking exclusively at combo boxes

here is the problems. when the user types in a value, they can't see the matching records in the drop down. i would think if for example they typed in "STE", the would see "STEVE", "STEVEN" and "STEVENSON" and could either choose one of those three or type in a new one such as "STEPHEN". shouldn't the combobox be able to dynamically display the matching entries as the user types?
