>I hate to be so critical of DBVisualizer, because they have obiously put alot of time and effort into their product, and I have only spent a couple of hours with the program. It might be that some of my criticism is due to my lack of understanding of DbVisualizer, as I have only given it a preliminary look and have not devoted the time to it that it deserves. Also, I have not read the documentation, if any, on the program.

>I would prefer that you let me notify DbVisualizer in the form of questions, after I have given it a more through look. This would avoid any protential misunderstanding between the parties, and would avaoid the possiblity that we accidentially put words into each others months. Notification of DbVisualizer may never occur unless I give DbVisualizer more serious consideration for adoption in which case I would be spending much more time with it.

Ok! I won't contact them with your results.
My own experimenting with DBVisualizer revealed that field names had to be lowercase, so names like "WholeName" wouldn't work. Also, milage may vary, because I used the oracle jdbc too, and DBVisualizer is no more powerful than the jdbc that is used.
