His has been bashing VFP and crying about its demise for a solid two years now and the only thing I have seen in the last two years is a better VFP, seemingly more MS committment and resourses for VFP and the the best VFP book selection we have ever had. Will VFP be discontinued? Who knows -- could happen tomorrow. But if it does we have to say that Gartner is a better prognosticator than JVP -- they have predicting VFP demise since 1994 or so.

Kevin;

If VFP is discontinued in 10 years, the forecasters of doom would say, “See, I told you so”! :) As I do not have a crystal ball I cannot see the future. However, you are so right about saving bandwidth.
