Hilmar,

  • SET DELETED ON is scoped to the current datasession. Try issuing SET DELETED ON in the current form.

I already SET DELETED ON just before the DELETE IN table command, then Refresh... but to no avail.

  • DELETE, just like doing any other change, should be followed by TableUpdate(). Otherwise, the change (deleting the record, in this case) isn't comitted to disk.

If I do this, it will not be a good design because what I am doing is a parent-child data entry. The problem is in the child data entry. TableUpdate on both parent-child tables should only be done when clicking a toolbar button (representing SAVE option.)

My point is, the RV is expected to work like a normal cursor. It seems to me that it does not recognized the SET DELETED ON in a GRID control. Is this a bug?
