That's good to know.. It seems that I read somewhere that Evaluate() and macro substitution didn't work, perhaps I'm confused. I was trying to list field names and their corresponding values in an HTML table however when I tried using Evaluate(laFields[lnFieldNo,1]) the program would bomb out. When I removed Evaluate() it worked fine. That in conjunction with thinking I've read about it somewhere lead to my post here.

After thinking about the code (after your reply) I believe it's because one of the fields are of type Integer and I probably needed to convert to string to append to the HTML string.
