Are you returning to the 1st exe and then calling the 2nd again?
In which exe are you "sitting on the Read Events clause."

-- Yes, the lookup is into another separate database, and I want the user to have the full lookup, vcr buttons, edit capabilities of the 2nd application. In effect, I want them to leave their app, go into the second app (to the matching record), and return to the 1st app as many times as they desire.

What is the reason for using 2 exe files?
