Jonathan:

A lot of things change when you start running w/o _Screen... as Steve said you will need a READ EVENTS or the form will just blink and disappear quickly, instead of processing the events on your Form.

You will also need a CLEAR EVENTS as the Form is being released to complete the process and return control to your Main.prg. The MS Foxpro Help files are good with explanations on this.
