To be honest, I was raised Catholic. It was all the "rituals" that made me stop going to church. I couldn't help but feel like it was a subtle form of brainwashing. Every week I'd go to church, repeat the same things and listen to the same things. Stand up, sit down. Repeat. Thanks, but no thanks. I also had the opportunity to go to a Baptist church a few times. Some weeks I felt like I was either at a concert, and others I felt like I was on one of those televangelist shows. Again, no thanks. At this point, I'll reserve judgement on the whole thing until...well, some at point between now and the end of the universe.
