hmmm.. I´m far away from being a specialist in .NET, but here´s what I´m hearing from Microsoft: it´s recommended to write managed code, as this will make use of the stability showed by the .NET framework. But, when you want the maximum performance, for example, you must use VC++ in their unmanaged way.
And, if you have large amount of code written in VFP, that´s fully running now, it doesn´t seems good to re-write everything again...
