I think You are using the vfpcom.dll - utility. from vfp6.
When calling this from VFP7 You get exactely this message.
The reason is that the old version is not compatible with
VFP7, but VFP7 did not ship with a new one because they thought
everyone would now use IMPLEMENTS.
Later a new version was issued and can be downloaded from
Microsoft (have a look at the vfp-site)
AFAIK it is downwards-compatible and should run with VFP6-EXE's
as well.
