Paco, Rick Strahl's West-Wind web site (
http://www.west-wind.com) is the absolute best site to answer your questions. Rick has done everyone a tremendous favour by publishing a lot of white papers on building internet applications with and without VFP. In fact, Rick has a very active message board where you might want to post this very question.
VFP 8.0 is in the works and will probably not be released for another year. The product just keeps getting better with each release and their is excellent support for VFP here on the UT and other web sites. Why give up 7 years of experience because of a rumor that has been around for about the same length of time?
