I'm creating a SDI for a timesheet module and found in the KB info on 'creating a top-level form with a top-level menu'. This being my first SDI I have a few questions:

1. What's the difference/advantages/disadvantages of using either a regular menu or a top-level menu? Both work fine as far as running them in the SDI.

2. How do I make the menu the initially selected 'object' (for lack of a better word) on my form?

3. How do I reference the form and form objects from the menu? I did a simple experiment for one menu pad that looked like this:

THISFORM.Rtggrid1.Enabled=.T.
THISFORM.Rtggrid1.SetFocus

Nothing happened so I'm assuming it's wrong.
