Hi Mark,
Thanks for the advice. I'll check into your demo.
I must emphasize that I have these buttons on the doc and
not on the VFP form. I can make the latter work successfully. The problems I'm having is related to the fact that the button is now in the doc!
The interesting thing is that this problem happens for any reference to any object on the doc. I cannot set their properties without causing VFP to error. If I ignore the error and resume, thing work ok. I verified this by placing a SET STEP ON just prior to the problem. When the trace window pops up, I simply resume and everything is ok. So it seems to me that there is some kind of timing problem?
Can you set a property for an object in your doc via the browser controls NavigateComplete2 event?
Mike.

>>I have placed the web browser control on a VFP6.0 form and have successfully navigated to html pages that are generated in VFP at runtime. I put a Back, Forward and Home button in my html page. Notice I said on my html page and not on the VFP form. It is actually in a frame. What I want to do is to disable/enable those buttons as is appropriate. For example, if the user navigates to the Home page, I want to disable the Home button on the page.
