The problem I had with the video was that it required the installation of a seperate codec. While you included the codec in the archive and that is OK, it would have been better if you had compressed the video with a standard codec that already comes with Windows. Not everyone can install a seperate piece of software just to view a video, and some security levels won't allow the .exe to run because it is "untrusted". I didn't try to run any .exe, I tried to double-click the video and let Windows Media Player play it.
Also, if it's an industry "standard" AVI, it could be converted to a format that can be streamed.
Just my $.02. Please don't think it takes away from the quality of the video - the video is great. It's just inconvenient to view.
>>The video is a great effort and really shows off VFP7's strenghts.

>>The only problem I had with it was viewing it. It seems that the AVI is compressed with an "odd" codec. Would it be possible to re-build the AVI with the Indeo or other default codec that users already have?

>There´s no such possibility. The CODEC being used is a very small one, from TechSmith. It is built into the EXE file that users will run, so, there´s no need to search for the CODEC anywhere.

>We haven´t experienced any problem with that. What´s the problem you had?
