Title:
111:cannot update the cursor
Can anyone help me out here?
I am running a legacy clipper app which uses Advantage Database Server on a
win2k server.
I have installed the Advantage ODBC as my database connection.
I have created the beginnings of my vfp/vpme application, and have used
xcase2vpm to setup the remote database.
I can access the tables and update the tables in the VFP app as long as my clipper app is not running, if I open the clipper app first then open my vpme app I can read the tables, but I can no longer save changes. On the save I get "111:cannot update the cursor."
I have tried changing the "advantage locking" settings in both the ODBC and
the clipper app but so far no luck.
Anybody?
thanks
bill
