Dear JVP

>> You and JR have decided to up the ante. Fine, so be it... If that is the way you want to play, then I will take your advice and deal with it MY way. <<

You insisted that I have to produce evidence or retract. Very well, let me see you live by your own rule. Show me where I have threatened you or defamed you or done anything that you have not done yourself repeatedly. I have not called you whore. I have not said your work is po dunk. I have not created false aliases to hurl abuse at you. I have not sent you obscene private messages. Now you say *I* am upping the ante, to justify yet another threat. And you expect people to believe you want to end it.

I have already warned you that I am not going to tolerate bullying by somebody who thinks he is cool because he is at law school. I do not think your future colleagues or professors would be impressed by your behaviour. I can think of at least one person whose corporate affiliation you used to hurt him, who might like to return the favour with a few samples of your work.

So if you want to end it, I suggest you do so. Firing threats and Parthian shots and then crying "I want to end it" is not the way real lawyers behave if they really want to end things. Ask your professor, or if you like I'll ask him for you.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
