Don't know if there is a rename file command .....

But you can do this ...

*!* Rename file x.txt to y.prg
COPY FILE x.txt TO y.prg

  DELETE FILE x.txt
ELSE
  WAIT WINDOW "Rename file failed...." NOWAIT
ENDIF
