Hi Mike

I’m using a separate form wit its own private Datasession to Add and Edit records for this cursor, then I’m already doing what you suggest. I certainly did not know about the performance being better and I’ll consider it from now on.

Your approach about setting the SendUpdates to .F. is also a very valuable guru advise, unfortunately I’ll have to make many code fixes to apply it correctly. Another good hint that I’ll start using on other parts of my project.

I finally added a scanning to the table looking for “2”’s and “4”’s through GetFldState(-1) for when the GetNextModified > 0. See message 659970, (I'm using The Mere Mortals Framework)
