That wasn't Jim's point. You are using multiple ways to deliver functionality. Jim is correct in that there is a single solution that will work for you if you can reduce the number of retrieved records. Further, that solution would permit you to work with local VFP data, or SQL Server or Oracle without major changes.

And on top of everything posted so far, you still cannot have the scroll bar work correctly until you switch from your current approach <g>.
