The purpose of the red message, for that option, is to make sure people understand that they don't have to click on that Login image to go in the Messages area or to get in the Console. Because those two options are including the built in login detection mecanism. So, if you sole purpose in UT is to get in the messages area or to launch the Console, just click on the first two images, depending on your operation.
Logout it to logout from UT. That means you can remain your browser opened but you have closed the security gate so no one else can use your PC, while having lunch for example, to gain access to UT under your account. As pointed, a UT logout would be also needed inside the messages area as this is the only place it's missing right now and we will rectify that.
