So issuing ATH (hangup) wont get you back ONLINE using +++? The reason why I already put ATH was because there are a lot of noises and squeals if you don't.

'+++' will drop the modem back to command mode if it is connected to another modem in DATA mode. See your modem manual.

I made a form with a textbox for one to enter the AT set of commands. A commandbutton is also there to do the OUTPUT MSComm method. It then waits for the OK reply of the modem. Funny thing is after a first ATDT+number command, the form just freezes when I issue a second ATDT+number.

Why would you need to dial a second number at this point? I am getting confused. Why don't you let us know what modem you are using and what exactly you require your app to do? Pseudo code would be great.
