I haven't tried with DLL server, but with EXE servers, you can issue ON SHUTDOWN DO Something to ran code when the last COM server of an EXE is unloaded. It doesn't fire reliable, though.

There's a description of it in the VFP help file. But if you have found a different solution, it's probably not worth the trouble.
