Have you had a look at the Symantec website, yet? I remember (not absolutely sure), that Symantec says WinFax 10.0 is not fully XP compatible, even if there isn't any newer version.

I am running WinFax 10 without any problems here on XP prof., but I'm not doing any OLE automation with it. If you want to, you can post a small piece of code, that instantiates the WinFax OLE Server and sends a fax (some plug&play code please <g>, since I don't know anything about the OLE interface). I could then put in my own fax number and see, if it works on my machine, so you could be step further and know if the problem is specific to your machine or not.
