I don't know of a way to do so without some coding, but you'd end up calling
the Windows API function SQLConfigDataSource() to do so - there is a sample declaration of the API call in the Windows API section #12675, and there's a sample creation of a DSN-less ODBC connection at runtime in the FAQ as #7870.

At some point, something has to run some code to either create the DSN-less connection or to record the DSN using the Windows API.
