Yes, I am sure that is so. Personally, I believe in God. But at this moment, I am more fascinated with another aspect of these investigations.
There seem to be several indications that, apparently, the laws of nature are such (whether by accident, or on purpose) that life must come forth - almost inevitably (I must also think, for instance, of the experiment where gases were bombarded with electricity for a week - now, what was the name of that one?).
If this is so, then very likely, there would be some sort of life on most other planets - and probably in other "unlikely" places as well (e.g., in interstellar space).
