I think, the defintion of your connection is the problem.

You have set the property "Transactions" to 1 (automatic), try 2 (manual) and send sqlcommit() or sqlrollback() - for sql server data, additional to end transaction and rollback - for vfp cursors.

'Begin Transaction', 'End Transaction' and 'Rollback' are working to local data (cursors) only and not for sql server data.
