I don't recall EVER hearing anything about the green flash in connection w/Venus (although I don't have any of my book references here). You've raised my curiosity, though. Taking a quick look at an Internet site, http://mintaka.sdsu.edu/GF/, I couldn't find anything (AND, I didn't look at it thoroughly). I've e-mailed the author to see if he's ever heard of anyone seeing the GF on Venus.
