What you describe sounds a lot like what happened to me recently. I changed one form and then another form started giving me errors about a funtion it could not find. But it was not a function at all - it was an array. The second form used an array element such as Tarr_File(1,4) which VFP thought was a function. The solution was to put an External Array command in the second form to tell VFP that this was an external array.

I do not know why or how the error became apparent to VFP only after modifying another form but this has happened before. Perhaps some of the guru's here on the forum can explain this wierd behaviour.
