Achim,

I'm using Visual UML with varying degrees of satisfaction. It certainly does what you need in terms of creating diagrams, but there are some core features which are lacking. It's got plusses and minuses. For example, I've come to accept that the reverse-engineering feature is very, very limited. It also has annoying little "features" such as the inability to 'undo' diagram changes, and no intellisense type functionality in the drop-downs or lists. On the flip side, they have very good support. In retrospect, it's a bit pricey for what it does.

The alternative, though, seems to be Rational Rose. I tried out the free trial version for a few days, and it has superior organizational capabilities (i.e. organizing classes into packages, etc.), and it's not as rough around the edges. The flip side is that it does not offer ANY native VFP round-trip engineering, and it is 2-3 times as expensive.

As far as I know, there are no tools which offer engineering of PRG based classes. In fact, I think Visual UML is the only tool which offers any native VFP support.
