Yup. The contempt with which the users of other languages view FoxPro is absolutely stunning. Even though they know next to nothing about it -- most of them are surprised that it's object oriented and has been for years, for instance -- they still look down their noses at it. Even VB programmers, for goodness sakes. (My standard comeback to them is "What does the B in BASIC stand for again?" ;-) )
It isn't fair or right, but it's the reality we have to live with.
