I would like to know if a FoxPro 2.6 table is converted to VFP when you rebuild an index as in:

INDEX ON cwhateverfield TAG Whatever

I am concerned that I will inadvertently convert FoxPro 2.6 tables to VFP. As you can see, I am working with a mixed bag of file types.
