Unless your are using a very slow computer or your forms are very complicated with many objects, I don't know why you would be experience slow performance.

Pentium 3 500Mhz, 256 Ram, HD 20. I don't think it's the problem.

You might check for extraneous form refresh() or requeries. How and where are you setting up and calling atresizer?
