Lynda,
sounds like you are working directly on the data. We always use a cursor when changes are being made in a grid. That way the Esc key can undo all the changes easly. You can even set buffering on a cursor so that a TableRevert will undo any changes to the cursor and the user can start over. When they save (we use F10 on a button) we then update the tables from the cursor.

>Thanks John. I'd hate to tally how many hours I've spent trying to make the checkbox perform as I'd like it to. It's reassuring to hear I'm not the only one experiencing problems. I can't change the datatype for this field because I'm not the SQL DBA but you can bet I'll remember this when the data specs go out for another project!
