The way the process works now, the reports are printed to file as they are selected because much of the content is entered and/or edited on the fly and the application doesn't save the changes. The user "sorts" the various "pages" using a mover prior to assembly of the final document. If disk access is the slowest part, I'll be a happy camper. Disk access has never been a problem with this process even before new hardware was installed.

I was actually surprised to read in another thread someone's comments that the file size actually decreased when going from DOC to PDF. I guess I expected tremendous bloat for all the additional functionality of PDF.
