When I was 13, I was going to grow up and play defense for the Chicago Blackhawks. Then I moved to Durham, NC, where there was one lonely rink way too far away. I was *severely* disappointed (until I found ACC basketball <g>).

Now we've got the best of the college basketball world AND the NHL! WOW! And the Entertainment & Sports Arena is only 10 minutes from my home. And completely sold out for all three finals games. :(

And to all of you who have said "I didn't think you could get ice that far south," well, whaddya think we put in our iced tea? We just decided that it was OK to skate on, too!
