Charlie,
This issue was covered in Thread #589361Thanks. I'll have a look at it.
I think the EXE never contains PRGs. It only holds the FXPs. VFP normally knows how to
treat PRGs--it knows to find the FXP code. However, with the OF clause, it doesn't quite know.Yes, I know.
Normally You write "Do MyProg.PRG". The project-manager interprets this and pulls MyProg.prg
into the project as well. Now if You issue "recompile and create exe",
it recompiles all its elements and puts all compiled results into the exe. So far so good.
I was just playing with the idea what would happen if I addressed "Do MyProg.fxp" in my
source. Would the project-mgr still draw the prg (and recompile on demand) or would it use
the fxp and leave it as it is?
I've tested by now and found out: the programm-mgr is smart enough. It does not care if You
address PRG or FXP, it always draws the PRG. - I just wanted to be sure.
