Hi All:

I used InstallShield that comes with VFP 7.0 to create an installation routine. Everything went OK. I tried it first on my test machine, saw the quirks and then went back and rebuilt the installation with the changes.

In the meantime, I simply deleted the 2 directories that the first installation setup did on the test machine.

I again ran "setup" on my test machine. Then the Windows Installer dialog box comes up with the following message:

"Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove teh existing verision of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the control panel."

OK, I went into Control Panel and saw the entry and "Removed" it from within Add/Remove Programs. Returned and ran "Setup" again, only to receive the same message again.

How do I make that message go away or resolve the issue. Your advise is appreciated. TIA.
